A funny day

Well it is Monday of the Queen's Birthday long weekend.  Thanks Liz!!! I am sitting here Spotify churning away in the background.  James Taylor and Carole King Live at the Troubadour playing to warm my morning.  Life, I think, could be much much worse.

This post is called funny day as I apparently did have one yesterday.  When I say funny day, I mean it would appear I was quite amusing, although I think it will loose something in the telling.  I will admit that long weekends always raise my spirits, so I am sure that helped.  Anyway, we were walking along through Grey Lynn on our way to the Farmer's Market and I was complaining to Kat that I had lost a pair of my jeans.  They had to be somewhere around the house I pointed out, as I never take my trousers off anywhere else but home.  Kat found this very amusing, I thought it was just logical.  It made my search area much smaller which was also good from my point of view.  I would have thought it brought her great solace if anything, but no, just amusement.

Later on, I moved from observation based humour to delicately placing a flatulence in the middle of my reindition of "I was made for loving you" by Kiss.  We had just left a Chinese Yum Char lunch and were walking back to the car.  Again, much hilarity ensued.  Let's face it, no one likes to admit it, but fart humour always works.  I am not sure however, if the guys from The Comfy Chairs (whom I am rehearsing the song for, would find it so funny. Maybe I will try it.....

There was a third, but I will be dammed if I can remember what it was.

Oh, and I found the missing jeans.  They were in the drier....
