The time for art is here

And so we come to the end of a weekend and another week is about to begin.  I am sitting with the windows open on this balmy evening, watching Stephen Fry on TV and pondering the week ahead. On the work front, it  promises to be one of frustration, challenges and  BIG discussions.  But that is enough about that....

Tomorrow I start a Life Drawing course at Art Station.  This is a big move for me, as I have never been a drawer or indeed any sort of artist of this type.   I "learnt" at school that I had no talent in this area and so I have never never done art with my hands.  But I feel the time is right, so I am giving it a go!

I also need to start singing again.....

This weekend coming is one year since Kat and I had our civil union.  I can't believe it has been a year, it only feels like yesterday.  It was a damn busy year and I feel like I never really stopped to enjoy myself for most of last year.  2010 will in general be a year I am happy to forget, apart from a wonderful start by joining together with Kat.  The time we spent away over Christmas was so so necessary for me on many levels.
